POETIC EXPRESS: On Drawing

I love to draw.  I estimate I’ve done at least 15,000 drawings!  My series done on blank index cards was over 6000 drawings.

I have piles of drawings on loose paper and hundreds of full sketchbooks.  Sometimes I only do a drawing or two a day.  Other times I draw all day.

This issue of my POETIC EXPRESS was dedicated to drawing.

I work mostly in black and white but I’ve done plenty of color drawings as well.  Technical pens or “Rapdographs” are frequently used.  Yet I also love drawing with pencils, brush and ink, bamboo pens, ballpoint etc.

Drawing: it’s all for the best!
